A Germany side that included 6 of the U21 squad that defeated England in the final of the U21 European Championship demolished a more experienced England in the World Cup and this is no doubt due to valuable experience being gained on the domestic scene.
The likes of Khedira, Ozil, Boateng, Neuer played regular football for their German clubs in the build up to the competition, quite a contrast to the season which Tottenham’s youngster and his England U19 team-mates face – ultimately one which will stifle their progression to stardom.
