da cassino: While there is the temptation to panic after winning just one of their last seven league games, let’s not forget that promotion is still in Leeds United’s hands.
da spicy bet: Indeed, in the grand scheme of things, the Whites are only 18 games away from being a Premier League side for the first time in 16 years.
Of course, it will never be as straight-forward as that, but with less than 20 matches to go, we can start looking at the Whites’ fixture list and assessing their chances.

A look at the clashes Leeds still have to play shows a very interesting picture, and it displays one area they need to improve in.
On paper, the Whites should have an easy time of it at Elland Road from now until the end of the season. There are ten home games to go, and seven of those are against teams currently sitting in the bottom half, while United still have to host all of the current bottom six.
However, showing their best form at home hasn’t been that straightforward for United this term.
Indeed, despite sitting second in the table, they have won just 54 per cent of their games at Elland Road thus far.
They have to hope that their record in front of their fans improves with the relatively easy run of fixtures they have on their own turf from now until the end of the season.
If it doesn’t, they will certainly be vulnerable as their away fixtures are a lot more daunting – they still have to play three of the top six on the road.
If United can aptly manage their easier run of home fixtures, their tough away run shouldn’t affect them too much.
Leeds need to make the most of these games and drastically improve their form at Elland Road.
In other news, Leeds’ chances of loaning this Premier League striker may have just increased.
